Refreshing the Kaplan brand for 2012 and beyond.
Following previous successful projects, Kaplan’s largest division, Kaplan Professional Education (KPE), appointed Platform to completely refresh its brand and product communication in alignment with its newly developed 2012 marketing strategy. With unique brand and stakeholder insights gained through recent and ongoing collaborations, Platform was able to develop new and fresh material, highly relevant to the target audience.
Vital to the process was Platform’s ability to gain a thorough understanding of the brand and its core values to ensure Kaplan maintains its leading position within the professional education sector.
Platform’s thorough market research and briefing process – including the facilitation of specialised focus groups with key stakeholders – ensured the success of Kaplan redesign, an ongoing commitment to the organisation’s positioning strategy, and a marked increase in brand appeal among its audience of progressive and aspiring audience of industry professionals.
This redesign ensures all communication and branding pieces are connected through symbolic imagery, colour expansions and enhanced language. Both internal and external brand tools were also developed and launched to form a significant part of KPE’s complete brand communications suite.
